UK Forecast: Cloudy west - Some brightness to east, Nov 20 - 14:12

Monday A murky start to Monday mornig across the whole of the country. There will be a fair amount of mist and fog around, with some cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting westerjn areas. These will be continuing through the day, mainly through Scotland, western Wales and easterrn Ireland. Some drizzle may move through southern England and into the Midlands in the afternoon. Some breaks may appear in the cloud further east with some brighter spells developing, although these rather short lived. Highs at 9C in northern Scotland, 14C in southern England.

Monday Night Another damp night to come with some more persistent rain around. This affects Wales, northwest and southwest England before midnight, before heading into parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland during the second half of the night. Drizzle and some light rain in the Midlands, but East Anglia and the southeast are likely to be staying dry. Becoming dry in western ireland too. Lows of 6 to 8C.

Tuesday A cold front is going to be lying from northern England to northern France through Tuesday. This only very slowly edgesd eastwards and gives a damp day to northern England, Wales, the Midlands and southwest England as well as eastern Scotland. The far southeast probably stays dry but murky throughout. Clearer weather follows through Ireland with good spells of sunshine developing here. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 15C in southern England.

Wednesday The remnants of the cold front still affect southeast England through Wednesday, giving a few spots of light rain or drizzle. Elsewhere the morning may well be foggy for some, although this fog should lift to leave some brightness through England, Wales and eastern Scotland. Thicker cloud will be arriving into Scotland and Ireland in the afternoon with breezier weather here and rain by evening. Highs at 9 to 12C.
