Wednesday With high pressure now in charge, most of England and Wales will enjoy a fine, dry and mostly sunny day though more cloud may be found across northern England. One or two isolated showers will affect Northern Ireland with scattered showers across northern and western parts of where it will be windy. Eastern Scotland should remain dry with sunny spells. Expect top temperatures of 16 to 20 Celsius.

Wednesday Night Most parts of the country will have a fine, dry evening with mostly clears skies. Overnight some rain may affect the far north of Scotland and The Northern Isles. The rest of Britain will be dry and mostly clear with some mist patches forming by morning. Expect minimum temperatures of 6 to 9 Celsius.

Thursday On Thursday a weather front may push some rain into the far north of Scotland in across the Northern Isles. It becomes windy again across northern Scotland with strong gales again expected across Shetland. Going south the winds become lighter, and it will be dry across the rest of the country with sunny spells. During the evening and night that area of rain pushes down across Scotland and into parts of Northern Ireland and north west England, becoming light and patchy. Clear across England and Wales with some fog patches developing before morning. Expect high temperatures today of 15 to 20 Celsius.

Friday Cloudy across Northern Ireland, southern Scotland and northern parts of England today with patchy light outbreaks of rain. To the north and the south it will be fine and dry with sunny spells. Most of the rain across northern England fizzles out this evening with most areas dry tonight with mist and fog developing. Expect temperatures today of 16 to 22 Celsius.
