Monday A cold, frosty morning across much of Britain with good spells of sunshine. Some patchy rain to come for north east Scotland and Northern Ireland otherwise dry. In the afternoon cloud increases in southern England and across Scotland with some light rain creeping into Cornwall. Still lots of sunshine for northern England, northern Wales and southern Scotland. Expect highs of 6 to 13C.
Monday Night Some light rain to come across south west England this evening with a few drops across Northern Ireland and southern England. Overnight it looks cloudy across Britain with some pockets of light rain here and there but overall dry though heavy rain comes in across Northern Ireland. Expect lows of 3 to 7C but -10C across parts of Scotland.
Tuesday Rather cloudy this morning with some sporadic outbreaks of patchy rain across England and Wales. The south of England will be dry for the afternoon but some patchy light rain will fall across the rest of the United Kingdom. Overall little change to come throughout the night with most areas cloudy with a few spots of rain here and there. Highs of 8 to 15C.
Wednesday Wednesday starts overcast with patchy rain but this fades from England and Wales by the afternoon and here some brighter spells will develop. Still some rain to come for Scotland and Northern Ireland but remains very light and patchy. Heavy rain and gales push into northern Scotland. Dry for the rest of Britain with varying cloud and occasional clear spells. Mild in the south with highs of 9 to 16C.
