More than 450 young professionals headed west on Saturday for an evening of Mexican themed merriment.
The Young Magen David Adom committee staged an end of summer fiesta at a bar in Kensal Rise.
Despite the temperature in the venue rising to central American levels, the crowd was kept happy with shots of tequila and the music of mariachi and samba bands.
Some 8,000 was raised for life-saving services in Israel.
YMDA committee chairman David Greenberg said: "The event exceeded all expectations and for those wanting to hold on to the summer for a little while longer, it felt like a true fiesta."
