Irish rock band U2's 360� Tour has overtaken the $558 million (�341m) record set by the Rolling Stones' Bigger Bang Tour in 2005-7.
The tour, which started in Barcelona in July 2009, is currently in South America. The band has 27 concerts still to play, including headlining Glastonbury Festival on Friday, June 24.
More than seven million tickets have been sold to date for 110 shows. By the time the tour wraps in North America on July 30, U2 will have taken an estimated $700 million.
