Time to pay for or lose festival ticket

The final call to pay for your Glastonbury Festival ticket has gone out.

Festival-goers have until 11.59pm tonight to pay off any outstanding balance or lose their ticket – along with 60 per cent of their deposit.

The typical balance due is 145, plus 5 booking fee.

Some will be hoping tickets do get cancelled as it means a final change to buy those rare festival tickets at 9am on Sunday, April 17, at www.seetickets.com/g2011 or 0844 412 4635.

But don't get your hopes up: organisers predict returned ticket numbers will be limited.

You will have to register first at www.glastonburyregis tration.com by tomorrow.

Treetop Flyers of London won the festival's Emerging Talent Competition on Saturday. All eight acts will get a chance to play the festival.

A new competition has been launched to win 1,000 and two festival tickets – along with the kudos of seeing merrymakers wearing something you created.

Finally, there are rewards for all those taking the eco-way to Pilton in July. The festival team has Green Traveller packs for those biking or bus-ing their way to the site. It contains food vouchers, solar showers and access to compost toilets.
