Temperatures Slowly Rising The weather continues to improve, although generally it remains unsettled for much of this upcoming week. It will become less windy and less wet with showers for many areas. Models indicate it could turn settled as high pressure builds in towards the end of the forecast, although confidence the present time it is not high. For the weather for the next few days click here Saturday 29/09/12 Apart from a few showers across northwest England and western Scotland, most parts of the United Kingdom will have a fair, dry and mostly sunny day. Outbreaks of rain spread in across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England in the night. Expect highs of 11 to 15C.
Sunday 30/09/12 Outbreaks of rain clear Scotland with rain across northern England and Wales this morning. Patchy rain then moves across central and southern parts of England in the afternoon. This may pep up a bit in the evening with rain across East Anglia and the southeast. Overnight. Expect maximum temperatures of 14 to 16C.
Monday 01/10/12 Any rain across the far southeast soon clears away early this morning, but overall it's a day of sunny spells and showers across much of Britain. Few showers are expected across eastern parts of Scotland and England. Expect high temperatures of 12 to 18C.
Tuesday 02/10/12 Tuesday is looking quite unsettled and very showery, showers will be heavy and frequent, interspersed with a few sunny spells. Most places become dry through the evening and night. Top temperatures of 11 to 16C.
Wednesday 03/10/12 High pressure may build in across the country though confidence is low to medium this point. Most places fair and dry spells. Expect top temperatures of 11 to 15C. Thursday 04/10/12 A front may bring some rain to northern Scotland today while high pressure may linger in the south. Much of England and Wales should be fine and dry with good sunny spells after clearance of fog patches. Expect high temperatures of 10 to 15C.
