PRIME Minister David Cameron said some stirring stuff at the Conservative Party's annual Spring Forum in Cardiff at the weekend.
He described Wales as a 'great nation' and went on to say how important it was to the Conservative Party and Government.
Well, how come it doesn't feel like it then, Mr Cameron? Certainly not to the people of Swansea and West Wales.
This week it was announced that the electrification of the railways would only go as far as Cardiff.
This was a bitter blow to the people of South West Wales.
In an interview with the Evening Post, Mr Cameron said that electrifying the track as far as Swansea would not be a good use of money and that it would be better off spent in the Valleys. Well thanks a lot for that Mr Cameron.
Maybe the people of Cardiff and the Valleys feel they are important to you. We do not.
David Cameron said he would like to get the economy of Wales moving again.
Surely the electrification of the train lines as far as Swansea would have been a big step towards this?
