Morning Call: Rain spread south - Windy north, May 20 - 06:03

Windy in the north, rain spreading south and fading Good morning. There are some good spells of sunshine around this morning for England and Wales, although things are changing. Cloud is going to be increasing through the course of the morning in western areas, these bringing some scattered showers through northern and western England and Wales.

A band of more persistent rain affects Scotland and Ireland this morning, and windy here too. This rain should gradually drift away to the south. heavier showers then affecting northern and western Scotland, although eastern and southern areas will be drier and brighter. Overnight any rain clears England and Wales with clear skies for many, A few showers still in western Scotland, although becoming much windier here.

Have a great day. Simon me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
