June 2004: Involved in a punch-up with Wales team-mate Barry Davies on tour in Argentina.

October 2005: Forced to apologised to his Wales team-mates for comments made in his controversial autobiography -  My Grand Slam Year.

December 2005: Banned for ten weeks for elbowing Leicester prop Alex Moreno during Heineken Cup tie. Later reduced to seven weeks on appeal.

October 2006: Banned from driving for a month and fined £1,850 for speeding.

January 2007: Criticised over his behaviour after photographed urinating in the street during a mid-season break with then girlfriend Charlotte Church in Chamonix ski-resort.

December 2008:
Questioned by police for alleged drunk and disorderly behaviour on train from London to Cardiff following Heineken Cup tie at Harlequins. Charges later dropped.

February 2009: Among four Wales players reprimanded for rowdy and drunken behaviour in a Cardiff pub, while recovering from injury.

April 2011: Suspended by Toulon for two-weeks for breaking club's disciplinary code following alleged punch-up with team-mates.

April 2012: Contract with Cardiff Blues terminated following drunken behavior on an early morning return flight from Glasgow.

September 2010: Appears on TV's polar adventure '71 Degrees North' and later as contestant in BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
October 2010: Signs for Saracens after 18 months out of rugby.
February 2011: Joins Toulon but waits two months to make try-scoring debut after calf tear.
June 2011: Included in Warren Gatland's preliminary World Cup squad but breaks wrist in warm-up match against England to dash hopes of appearing at the global showcase.
October 2011: Signs for Cardiff Blues on an eight-month contract.
April 2011: Contract terminated following just six games for the region.
