TORCHWOOD fans will be doubly delighted when the sci-fi series returns this summer.
The fourth run of the Doctor Who spin-off, created by Swansea's Russell T Davies, is a 10-parter jointly produced by the BBC and US network Starz.
As well as original stars John Barrowman and Swansea Valley actress Eve Myles, the series has a number of big-name guests including Hollywood actor Bill Pullman.
Now the producers have confirmed there will be an online offshoot, called Torchwood: Web of Lies, which will run in conjunction with the TV show.
It is believed it will star Eliza Dushku, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse and Tru Calling fame.
The TV series will start in the US on July 8 and is expected to be screened in the UK around the same time.
