European Summary: Windy and unsettled - Best across Spain, Turkey, Dec 04 - 06:02

Gales across Europe Today Strong gales will continue across northern and eastern parts of Europe today with rain across England into France, Germany into Poland, Belarus and the Baltic States. Snow showers will affect Norway and Sweden with an area of heavy snow across Finland and Russia. Dry across the Ukraine into Romania, the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey. A day of sunshine and showers to come across Italy across Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearics. Dry and sunny across Portugal and Spain. Heavy showers are forecast across Belgium, Holland, Denmark and northern parts of Germany. Rain is expected across Austria and Hungary.

Monday Strong winds will affect much of Europe extending south into the central Mediterranean. Lots of blustery showers to come across Britain into France, Belgium, Holland and into Denmark. Turning cold today with snow showers for northern Britain and western Norway and Finland. Largely sunny and dry across Sweden and Germany with snow showers across Bavaria and rain showers along the north German coast. Outbreaks of rain are forecast from the Baltic States into Belarus into Poland, Hungry, Austria into the former Yugoslavia. Scattered showers are expected across Italy and Greece with a sunny, dry across Turkey. Rain spreads into north west Spain later in the day but overall a dry day across Portugal, Spain into the Balearics. Snow showers will affect the Alps with the far south of France perhaps staying dry.
