Severe rain has left the Israeli president unable to stay in his home.
Shimon Peres will move to a flat in Jerusalem for four months while repairs are carried out to his official presidential residence, Beit Hanasi.
His spokeswoman, Ayelet Frish, said a rainstorm had flooded the dining room and other parts of the house, and also caused damage to the building's wiring.
Mr Peres will be able to conduct some business in his residence but meetings will also have to host guests in his temporary home ? which looks over the walls of Jerusalem's Old City.
