Cloudy with drizzle ion the west, but the best sunshine in central and eastern areas Good morning, You may have noticed that it feels milder this morning. That's because a warm front has passed eastwards through the country overnight and has brought milder air to all this morning. We are now in what is called a warm sector; that's the area between and cold front and a warm front.
The southwest wind is blowing low cloud onto western coasts bringing outbreaks of drizzle here. To the east it is going to be drier and brighter with sunny spells here. The best of any sunshine this afternoon probably to the east of the Welsh Mountains and to the east of the Pennines.
Temperatures are likely to be rising to near or above normal for the time of year.
Have a great day. Simon me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
