European Summary: Unsettled to north - Fine in south, Aug 04 - 06:03

Fine in southern Europe, but unsettled to the north Saturday A few showers may affect the north of Spain today. For most parts of Spain and Portugal the day is going to be fine with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come through the central Mediterranean, with Italy and Greece both being dry and warm. Turkey is warm too, although some thunderstorms are likely inland. Heavy showers will be affecting central and western parts of France, but the south should be dry. Some showers for the coasts of the Low Countries, and some heavy showers in northern Germany and Poland. Heavy showers affecting southern Sweden, with denmark being dry and bright. Some cloud and rain across central Norway and central parts of Sweden. Fine through the Baltic States and dry in most of Finland.

Sunday Some heavy showers over central parts of Spain today, these affecting southern Portugal too. The heavy showers could affect southern parts of France and around Switzerland and Austria. High pressure brings a hot and sunny day to the Balearics and Italy. More sunshine aqnd hot weather to come over Turkey and Greece. Heavy showers affecting northern France and the Low Countries as well as Germany. Further heavy showers for northern and central Poland. High pressure brings dry and sunny weather to the Baltic States, although a few heavy showers will be affecting Denmark. Some heavy showers over inland areas of Norway and Sweden as well as Finland.
