SWANSEA youngsters have been getting into the groove at a dancing day in a city park.
Around 15 children took part in the first Junior Park Rangers Dancing in the Park event at Singleton Park's Ty'r Bloddau Centre.
The youngsters, who are all members of Swansea Council's junior park rangers scheme, enjoyed Zumba dancing led by trained instructor Sam Thomas, who works with Swansea Council through the Mentro Allan carers' project.
The junior park ranger scheme has been running for nine years and has around 800 members in the city.
Junior park rangers can take part in a range of free activities, as well as learning more about the wildlife in the green spaces on their doorstep.
Adam Mason, from the council's parks development team, said: "The feedback we had was very positive — everyone enjoyed themselves."
