The Indians signed two more draft picks today and now have 14 of their 40 selections under contract.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Indians have come to terms with two more players selected the amateur draft earlier this month.
Fifth-round selection Dylan Baker, a righthanded pitcher out of Western Nevada, and Josh Schubert-McAdams, an outfielder from Calhoun High School in Georgia taken in the seventh round, both signed today.
The Indians have now signed 17 of their 40 draft selections, including 11 from the first 14 rounds.
Baker was 13-0 with a 1.91 ERA for Western Nevada this season and was named conference pitcher of the year, while leading his team to the National Junior College World Series.
Schubert-McAdams hit .447 with six homers. He was also 6-1 as a pitcher.
